Not only do you need to show your PAP to register for your security entrance pass…. While in Mundgod Tibetan Settlement, you must keep your PAP (or PAP Application Documents) with you at all times to show the local authorities whenever you might be asked for it.
In the event that your PAP does not arrive before your visit, you must bring a copy of your PAP Application Documents:
- Completed PAP Application Form
- Confirmation of Receipt Email which you received from the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama immediately after applying.
You can show these documents to the local authorities as proof that your PAP application is in progress.
