Everyone may bring an FM radio and voice recorder into the teaching venue. His Holiness will teach in Tibetan language and there will be simultaneous translation into 12 different languages via FM radio. Therefore, please bring an FM radio with headphones, (so as not to disturb others who are listening in a different language).
For the purpose of reading the Lamrim texts, foreigners will be allowed to also bring e-book readers and iPads WITHOUT SIM CARDS into the teaching venue. You MUST remove all SIM cards from your device. Furthermore, if you are seen taking any pictures inside the teaching venue, the Security Department may take your device away from you.
Phones and cameras are NOT allowed into the teaching venue. If your radio contains a camera or phone it will not be allowed inside.
