For those of you arriving approximately 18 – 24 December into Bangalore and Mysore railway and bus stations (NOT airports), you may look for the Jangchup Lamrim Travel Guides who can assist you in finding transportation to Sera Monastery.
The Travel Guides are Tibetans wearing fluorescent yellow vests and carrying official Jangchup Lamrim Badges (light blue in color with “Jangchup Lamrim Teaching” written on the top).
For those of you flying into Bangalore or Mysore, Travel Guides will not be available at the airports, but you can easily book a taxi from the airport upon arrival. For more information see the Transportation page.
