We are very happy to announce that H.E. the 7th Yongzin Ling Rinpoche arrived safely at Sera Monastery on 15 December. Rinpoche was welcomed in Bangalore by the Central Tibetan Administration (the Tibetan Government-In-Exile) Bangalore Representative and by Members of the Jangchup Lamrim Teaching Organizing Committee. Upon arrival at Tehor Khangtsen in Sera Monastery, Rinpoche was greeted by monks and foreigners lining the street. In the Tehor Prayer Hall, Rinpoche was offered the traditional welcoming ceremony (of Mandala offering, tea and sweet rice) which was attended by the Abbot and Ex-Abbot of Sera Monastery. Rinpoche kindly accepted khatas (white offering scarves) and offered blessings to each person present.
