The Jangchup Lamrim Teaching Organizing Committee wishes everyone today – 21 September – a very peaceful “International Day of Peace”.
This Day, established by the United Nations, is an annual day of non-violence and cease-fire, and 2012 marks the 30th Anniversary of the first International Day of Peace. The United Nations invites all nations and people to honour a cessation of hostilities during the Day, and to otherwise commemorate the Day through education and public awareness on issues related to peace.
