Attendee Tip #1: In-Person Security Registration is Now Open
No one will be permitted to enter the teaching venue without a security entrance pass.
In order to make this pass, all attendees must register in person in the Tibetan Settlement Office in Camp 1, NOT the Committee’s Office in Sera. You can easily take an auto rickshaw from Sera to Camp 1 Market and then ask anyone to point you to the Settlement Office.
Registration hours are currently 9am – 5pm, open this Sunday (22nd). You will need to leave the following documents:
- Two passport-size photos
- Photocopy of passport
- Photocopy of PAP (Protected Area Permit)
You may ask someone (Tibetan, Indian or foreigner) to register in person on your behalf. They will need to give your documents listed above.
