The Jangchup Lamrim Teaching Organizing Committee is happy to announce that the Indian Government has issued approximately 1,000 PAP’s in the last few days. We expect that about 90% of the PAP’s for the Jangchup Lamrim Teachings will be issued within the next week.
So we encourage all of you to delay cancelling your travel plans for as long as possible, to allow for the possibility of your PAP arriving very soon.
Due to various email problems, sometimes a few PAP’s may not arrive correctly to your email inbox. Therefore, we are making available on our website the lists of issued PAP’s so that anyone who has not yet received their PAP may check for their name (List #3 and #4 have been added since our last update).
As we explained before: The Indian Government’s Ministry of Home Affairs is the department which actually issues all PAP’s. The Jangchup Lamrim Teaching Organizing Committee and the Bureau of His Holiness the Dalai Lama do NOT issue PAP’s. However, the Bureau of His Holiness has very kindly offered to help facilitate the PAP application process for attendees of His Holiness’ teachings. This year the Indian Government’s PAP processing has been taking much longer than usual. The Jangchup Lamrim Teaching Organizing Committee and the Bureau of His Holiness have been and continue to do our best and everything in our power to very strongly urge the Indian Government to process all PAP’s as quickly as possible.
